Funny email I got from a friend....

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. * Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. * Really, how ARE you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. * Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after BluRay? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. * I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. * I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Crap!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

15. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
16. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
17. * I disagree with Kay Jewelers, I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than with Kay.

18. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

19. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.

20. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

21. * How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

22. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

23. Is it just me or do high school kids get dumber & dumber every year?

24. * There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

25. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

26. * Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'll bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

Somebody turned 7

and his name was Jonathan. What the heck happened to my baby???
He used to be so little.

higlights of the Utah State Fair- 2010

I LOVE the fair! I grew up in a small town and the highlight of the year was the County Fair. It was HUGE and there was always so much to see and do there. We missed our county fair this year because of my hospital stay plus the kids did this thing in the Spring where they read 10 books by a certain date and mailed the slip in and got a free entrance pass as well as a free ride pass coupon and a coupon for a free drink. We simply could NOT pass that deal up! So off to the fair we went!

"Look Mom, it's an OLD car!"

Peace homey (sporting the $5 sunglasses he bought)

who are these divas? and what did they do with my daughters?? (also posing wearing the $5 sunglasses they purchased at the fair)

Sidney and Jonathan riding a ride....I am pretty sure Sid is LOVING it!!

Rachel and Jenny on the hang-glider ride...it looked scary!

seriously...I do ANYTHING for this face....anything

Yummmm....Pronto Pups from the fair! Nothin' better!!

Triathlon #2- Yuba Lake

all the swimmers taking off in the coooold water

Mike coming out from his swim

coming in from his 12 mile bike ride

and here he comes across the Finish line!!!

final time... 1:29:21

He rocked it! Finshed 42 overall which is fantastic because there were over 500 competitors. Granted not all of them did the Sprint Tri, but still...he was in the top 50!

Mike and the fam! We love our Triathlete!!

Riding a bike

On Labor Day we thought it very fitting that we should "Labor" and clean out the garage and fix up broke stuff. OH yeah...that was fun.

We got down Meghan's old bike and Mike put the training wheels back on it and adjusted the seat and handed it over to Sidney. I fully expected her to sit on it and then cry because she couldn't get it to move.

I could not have been more WRONG! She made it move....a LOT!!! And then the whole rest of the afternoon she rode, and rode, and rode.

She needs to stop being so big. She is my BABY!! I am not ready for her to be this big!

Future Falcettes 2010

One of the most looked forward to events of the school year for my girls is the drill team camp put on my the Clearfield High School Falcettes each year. This year was no exception....except this year, I had a 3 year old that decided she could shake her money maker to and she should have a chance. Oh my! So much fuN!!

Here is the girls posing before they danced during halftime of the Friday night football game. When I was putting make-up on the girls, Sidney kept saying "I a lady now"...so hilarious!!

posing with Tavia, Hadlee and Kaydee (the YW in our ward that are on the drill team)

And posing with the FALCON (I think his name is Ferdinand??)
