Future Falcettes 2012

Sidney and Jenny participated in Future Falcettes this year.  This is where they are taught a dance routine by the High school drill team (the Falcettes) and then perform it at halftime of a football game.  The game was close to Halloween, so all the girls wore their Halloween costumes to dance in.

Not that you can tell, but the top picture is of Jenny's age group dancing, and this one right above here is Sidney's group.

Sidney with Kiera and Emma, two of my Laurels (from my YW time) that are Falcettes and Miss Sidney.  I love the look she is giving Kiera!

Pinewood Derby 2012

This scout melts my heart.

Jonathan and Mike's derby cars.

Let's go win!

Jonathan was not the overall Pinewood Derby winner, but he did win "Most Aerodynamic".  He was pretty excited about that!

Even Mike won an award.  He got "Sportiest" because his car had a sports team logo on it.  :)

BYU

I love BYU.  I really, really do.  I didn't before I married Mike.  Honestly, I didn't even care.  But I have grown to love BYU and BYU sports so much.  The best part is that we partake as a family in bleeding blue.  We love our season tickets to BYU football and have all enjoyed going to games over the last couple of years.  This year was no exception!  Mike took a different child each time to a game and I also got to go with him.  It is great fun!  Sidney has even decided that since she will be 6 next year, she will be big enough to go on a "BYU game date" with her dad also.
