Orlando
Mike and I disembarked from the cruise ship around 10 am and decided to take a drive over to the Orlando Temple before we had to be at the airport to catch our flight.
It's such a pretty temple! It was a Monday so the grounds were closed and the maintenance guys were there doing work on the landscaping and stuff, but they let us come and take some pictures when we told them we were from Utah.

Bahamas cruise part 3
So we sailed away from Nassau around dinnertime and made port just off the island of CocoCay in the morning of the 3rd day. This is a private island owned by Royal Caribbean for their cruise ships to stop at and enjoy. WE planned to lay on the beach all day and soak up the sun and we did just that.

Bahamas cruise part 2
So we were at sea all night and arrived in port (Nassau, Bahamas) in the morning. As we pulled in we saw that there were already 5 ships there! Needless to say it was busy in port that day, but Mike and I still had fun.

LOVE all the brightly colored buildings!
Green Lantern made a stop at the Bahama Police Station
outside Fort Fincastle before we toured it
Mike next to the replica cannons. The real cannons were made from lead and were not only heavy, but expensive in those days so following the war they were sent back to England.

our favorite floor...I don't know why!
Oh yeah...THAT'S why.
Mike ordered Duck....it was very yummy!
I ordered Beef. And then our waiter laughed at me because I asked for Ketchup for it.
Formal Night. This is as formal as we get.

Bahamas cruise part 1
Mike surprised me in November asking me what I thought about a cruise for our anniversary this year. Of course I was super excited! I have been wanting to go on a cruise for FOREVER! Plus it's on my bucket list, so I was in.
We had my little sister come and stay with our kids and they had fun. Probably more than they should have and we appreciated so much her willingness to be our Nanny!
We booked a 3-day Bahama cruise making stops in Nassau and CocoCay.
disclaimer: the pictures are not entirely in order. Deal with it.
Mike making fun of the life jackets and acting like he is scared he is going to drown.
Sitting in the theater...it was huge...until everybody showed up for a show and then it suddenly felt small because of all the people.
leaving Florida behind!
Mike was "cold". Seriously.
