Ummm yeah, so Band Concerts were fun. That's me in the yellow dress right there in the front adjusting my music or something. I played the clarinet and for this concert I was excited because I had actually made 2nd chair. That was a big deal for me! HUGE in fact. It was probably the only time I had done well playing my stinking clarinet!
I am trying to RE-learn my clarinet. Which is a joke. HAHA. The girls laugh every time I make it squeak. I thought that was only embarrasing when I was in 7th grade, but apparently I was wrong.

I attempted the clarinet starting in grade school but my fingers were too dang skinny to cover the holes all the way. So I never did pursue band. I was a singer.
Congrats on making second chair! That is a HUGE deal!
Band, muwahahaha. I remember being in the band in Jr High. I played the flute and made it to 1st chair. :p Then I found drama and never went back, but I do have dreams about trying to play the flute and not remembering how.
Ha! Love it.
I played the clarinet for exactly six months in middle school. Never again.
But hey, have you ever seen "The Majestic"? It makes the clarinet freakin' COOL.
I keep thinking I should be in this picture somewhere, but I did miss a band concert in 7th grade because I had to go to my great-grandmother's funeral.
I miss band :(
