Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a special day for me. I love that we live close enough to visit the graves of one set of my grandparents. I always look forward to being able to take the kids to the cemetery and leave flowers and talk about what we remember about them.

Yesterday was no exception. We headed up to Ogden first to leave flowers on my step-grandpa's grave. He is buried next to his first wife.

Then we head to Willard to leave flowers on my grandma and grandpa's graves and this year we added placing flowers on my Uncle Darrell's grave. He died just last year.

And then we drove up Ogden Canyon past Huntsville and checked out the campsite that our family will be camping at this summer. It was a good day!!
