Easter 2010

Easter is a fun holiday at our house....or at least I hope it is. It's hard to make a spiritual holiday a "fun"one, but I think it is okay to have balance. :)

We do the Easter egg hunt that the city puts on each year and this year we also went to the one that some of our neighbors do. Thanks to the Hargrave's...it was a blast!!
I love tradition....I do, and when I was growing up there were things that were always done for Easter. I remember getting new tights/shoes and my mom would make us a dress. So, now that I am the mom that has become my job to recreate. I made dresses for the girls last year, but this year I just didn't have time, so they got a skirt and I bought shirts to match. Jonathan and Sidney got store-bought clothes because mommy ran out of time even more. Oh well....the point is that they got a new outfit, right?
