Sometimes milestones feel like actual stones that are stuck in your shoe and they keep digging into your foot and it hurts and you just wish they weren't there. That's kinda how I feel about a recent milestone that was passed at our house.
Meghan graduated from the 6th grade and is moving onto Jr. High. Yikes! She will officially be a teenager in December and she likes boys....like a lot. Where did my cute little Kindergartener go? You know, the one that was nervous and could hardly write her name? Apparently she has been replaced by this gorgeous, self-assured young woman that loves life and lives it fully. I don't know if I like this or not! It's hard to see her grow up, but wonderful at the same time because she is such a great kid!
...especially BEST FRIENDS! (this pic is funny because her friend Kasidy is WAY taller than her and she said, "Kas, bend down! I want to be the tall one for once!")
