BFF's

I imagine life would a lot different for most people if they lack that certain person in their life that is their "go-to" person. What I mean is our best friend. Hopefully all of us have at least one and hopefully we treasure that person and the relationship we have with them.

My little boy is very lucky in that every day his best friend comes to our house and plays with him before they both go to school. These two boys are great friends. They enjoy the same kinds of toys, movies, games, and even music (you should hear them sing along with David Archuleta...it's priceless!).

What's even awesomer (is that a word?) is that their moms are ALSO best friends! Without Shannon my life would be hard. That's really the only way I can describe it. I would still have my husband, who is my other best friend, but there are some things you just need a "girlfriend" for and she is truly and honestly my BFF.

Happy Birthday Miss Valentines Day Baby!!

This here post goes out to my Best Friend in the world! I mean, we are like BFF 4-EVER! Today is her birthday and no one else was really remembering her, so I thought, "What the heck...I'll post a Happy Birthday to her!"

Best Momever

It's my blog and therefore I can do whatsoever I like. Just like at home. The other place of which I am the boss.

My daughter drew this picture for me several months back and I just found it again. I decided that, to me, its message was like a gold medal or an auspicious award. Therefore I am passing it on and starting my own award. (I haven't received any blogable awards- so this is also my first of that kind.)

I pass the "Best Momever" ...(yes, I know two words are combined into one word-that is what makes this award so unique and COVETED)... to my best friend Shannon. Folks...she ROCKS! And she seriously is a Best Momever! So, Shannon, now you can pass it on to someone that you feel is a great mom.

Odds and Ends (it's how my brain works folks!)

Okay, so how funny was it last night on Dancing with the Stars when Marie Osmond said, "Oh my heck!" I laughed so hard that my kids were like "what is up with mom". It was fantastic!! I am personally cheering for her and Sabrina (Cheetah girls). I think if they keep up the good work they can go far. And let's not forget Jane Seymour. So classy. She could win it. Which would show all those guys, huh?!

So, I bought material yesterday to make jammies for my family for Christmas. It is really cute with snowmen on it. I love snowmen. Jenny and Jonathan helped me pick it out. So why am I undertaking this crazy-gonna-take-a-lot-of-time project? Because my best friend is "the Extreme" and she is contagious. (Love you Shannon!) No really. It is because I am a spaz and I like to sew since I got my serger. Too fun!

Hmmm, what else can I say to bore entertain you? I have a zit on the side of my nose. That is always newsworthy. Or not. Can I help it that pretty much nothing exciting happens to me. Or at least nothing that I can become famous from. Too bad because I was hoping to become famous and then develop all these problems and then have to go into rehab again and again. And then blame it on other people. THAT'S what I wanted.
