WWW award

WooHOO! Holly from 2Kids and Tired gave me this awesome award! I am so appreciative! I love blogging and receiving awards or any recognition of any kind makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks again Holly!

In turn I am passing this award on to other bloggers that I think are wonderful women of the web. Since I can't give to everyone (frankly, it would take me forever to type that all out), I am only giving to 4 bloggers that I know do not have this award. I give this to: Shannon, Her Royal Highness, Kim, and Cecily.

Hooray for blogging!

I want to thank the academy.....

I got the best present ever today in the form of an award from Holly at 2Kids and Tired. She gave me this fabulous award. She said she was giving it to me because I was a "kindred spirit and I relate so well to her thoughts and posts". Thanks Holly!
I am giving this award to Cecily from My Chaos, My Bliss because she seriously makes me laugh so hard that I am afraid I will wet myself! She is funny and real.
Holly also gave me this other award a few
months ago, but I was lazy and didn't pass it on
then, so I will do that today! There are 5 categories to this award. I
was awarded the Bloggers with Integrity award through Creativity. I never thought of myself as creative. That was my sisters. Not me. So that meant an awful lot to me.
So, to Pay It Forward:
For Creativity: to Shannon from The Extreme One because she is my BFF and because she always puts fun stickers and things on her blog to correspond with whatever holiday it is and I think that is fun!
For the Spirit of Giving: to Her Royal Highness because she gives of herself my sharing her fun-loving personality with the blog world through her delightful posts. (Plus I love her pen name!)
For Staying True to Your Beliefs: to Sandra from The Dance because she expresses herself and what she stands for in such a way that I keep coming back for more. Thanks Sandra!
For Keeping it Real: to Tori, because she is freaking HiLaRioUs! She's not afraid to let us in to her crazy life and, of course, like addicts, we are there everyday hoping for more!
and for Social Conscience: to Ann from Sharp Spiels. This one was a toughy. What does it mean to be socially conscious? I don't know, but I thought of Ann because she loves her team (LSU) and devotes much of her blog to her love of them. I thought that if something like that was important to her, then she deserves an award. Plus she can't have the one that LSU just won, so I have to give her something!
Love you ladies! Keep blogging!

A little bit of random

oh, what to write, what to write. Hmmmm. Oh I know! Holly gave me an award! It is a sub-category (I think) of the "Bloggers with Integrity" award. It is for Creativity. First of all, Holly makes me laugh! Me...creative? My husband is mocking me as I write this! So, that excites me! I love going to people's blogs and seeing awards. It shows that other people like their blogs and like to read them and show support to them. To have someone give me an award makes me feel a little bit cooler and popular. There's always a first time for things, right?

Next thing I want to write about is this: Do your kids have Daddy-dar? Mine do. The moment that he walks in the door they run to him. Even if he is super quiet and doesn't make a sound and they are in the basement, they "know" he is home and run to find him. It's cool.

Third, the Osmonds were on Oprah today. Did you watch it? Well, I did and I LOVED it! I have to give them props for me so upfront about their beliefs. It was awesome! Talking about Forever Families, and no premarital sex. It rocked. My husband says he thinks that it is the most vocal they have ever been about their religion. They have to be some of my favorite celebrities EVER! Kudos to the Osmonds!

Well, that is enough randomness for today, don'tcha think?

Best Momever

It's my blog and therefore I can do whatsoever I like. Just like at home. The other place of which I am the boss.

My daughter drew this picture for me several months back and I just found it again. I decided that, to me, its message was like a gold medal or an auspicious award. Therefore I am passing it on and starting my own award. (I haven't received any blogable awards- so this is also my first of that kind.)

I pass the "Best Momever" ...(yes, I know two words are combined into one word-that is what makes this award so unique and COVETED)... to my best friend Shannon. Folks...she ROCKS! And she seriously is a Best Momever! So, Shannon, now you can pass it on to someone that you feel is a great mom.
