I've been a real blog loser lately. It's not that I have nothing to say. Oh no! I've had many interesting thoughts, as well as silly anecdotes from the kids, I just have'nt gotten around to actually blogging about them.
What do you suppose is wrong with me? I have my suspicions.
Oh well. So moving on....
Have you noticed that gas has gone up again? Around here, gas has gone up over 20 cents since Monday. I just hope it doesn't go up anymore or I am going to have to start complaining again.
New Year's Resolutions. Yikes! I have to admit that I kinda sorta hate them. It's probably because I can never seem to keep them. This year I am seriously trying my best to change that though. ONe of my goals is to read my scriptures BEFORE I get on the computer each day. That's going to be a hard one (for me), but I know if I just try that I can do it. I also have a goal to lose another 20 pounds. Yeah, I have this same goal year after year, but this time I want it to be different. I am joining my friend Melinda's Biggest Loser contest. Maybe I will even WIN and get the CASH PRIZE! Dream Big, that's my motto!

Out of Time
I have finally succumbed to what I have been trying to do for oh so very long. I deleted my blogroll from my sidebar. You see, I just don't have time to go through everyone's blog every day. I love you all. I do. But I just gotta have more time for me and my kiddos, oh yeah, and that crazy guy I am married to. He wants some time also.
The Good news is that I finally figured out how to do Google Reader. So, all of your URL's are on there and it will tell me when you post something new and I can read it. If I don't comment, please don't think that I stopped reading you. I didn't. I probably just laughed and then moved on. It happens.
I'm. So. Sorry.
It had to be done.

blogging break
I am taking a bit of a blogging break this weekend. My husband's sister's daughter (okay, my niece!) is being baptized and we are going to go and be with family and enjoy ourselves!
I appreciate all you sweet, kind comments about our adoption story. It is a very special part of our life and even though I hesitate to tell intimate details, I do want to share it. Like I tell my girls, "You can't be ashamed of your adoption. It is a part of you and it makes you special. Other kids were just born into their eternal families, but your mom and dad got to come on a treasure hunt to find you!" :) And they truly are treasures!!
Anyway, thanks for reading!!

WWW award
WooHOO! Holly from 2Kids and Tired gave me this awesome award! I am so appreciative! I love blogging and receiving awards or any recognition of any kind makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks again Holly!
In turn I am passing this award on to other bloggers that I think are wonderful women of the web. Since I can't give to everyone (frankly, it would take me forever to type that all out), I am only giving to 4 bloggers that I know do not have this award. I give this to: Shannon, Her Royal Highness, Kim, and Cecily.
Hooray for blogging!

Dad Interrupted
Just a few minutes ago at lunch, Rachel asked my husband,"Dad, do you have a website like Mom does"? He told her no and she said,"Well, you should get one." Then Jenny piped up and said, "yeah and call it Michael dot com". I was laughing really hard by now, and Rachel said, "No, it should be Dad Interrupted. Like Mom's only because you're the Dad".
His reaction....oh he just sighed really big.

Where are you from?
I had someone visit my blog from Romania and from Australia!
How cool is that?
I personally think it is pretty neat.
If you are wondering how I know this, it's because I have a map on my sidebar that logs where you are visiting from. I can recognize most of the places by people I know, and then sometimes I can't and I just wonder who you are.
For example: on the map it says Twin Falls, Idaho...that's my awesome sis-in-law Ronda. When it says Meridian, Idaho...that is Holly from 2KidsandTired. If it says Franklin,Tennessee, then that is Keeley from Wanderer In A Strange Land. If it says Farmington, Utah or Syracuse,Utah, then I know it is my friends from around here. It is all very interesting. It makes me feel a bit like a CIA agent tracking you down or something....Hee Hee Hee (that's my evil secret agent laugh, in case you were wondering)
So, who are you and where are you from? I'd love to meet you!

NaBloPoMo
If you visit my blog frequently, or even at all, you may have noticed that I have a new widget (I think that is what they are called) on my sidebar. Of course, it is possible that you don't even pay attention to all the junk I have over there. Whatever. At any rate, I DO have a new widget. It is my NaBloPoMo widget. What's that you say? Well, let me explain. I have really gotten into this blogging thing. My husband thinks I am a freak. Whatever. I enjoy it and so therefore I will do it. So, the month of November is National Blog Posting Month. Or NaBloPoMo, if you will. I joined. The deal is this: you have to post on your blog EVERYDAY for the whole month of November. I think it sounds like fun, so I am gonna do it!
Stand by though. Not all my posts will be awesome and fabulous and out-of-this-world.
Okay, so they aren't anyway.
At least you know what you are getting and are fore-warned.
