Projects. Ugh. That word almost instills fear in me. I have so many projects that I have started and not finished, it would almost be comical if it weren't so darn sad.
This morning following breakfast while the kids were vacuuming and generally pretending to clean their rooms, I went downstairs to my craft room/canning kitchen. I sorted and rearranged things, and threw things away, and organized my junk. In the process I found no less than 7 projects that I have started and not finished. Why do I do this? What is my problem with the no-follow-through?
Anyway, I was literally disgusted with myself.
So, I called my friend Shannon and we went to town and I bought stuff for 3 more projects. I'm a real winner I am.

That seems like something I would do, too. "Gee, I have all of these projects to finish. Let's start another one!"
I think our reasoning is this:
Maybe this next project will be just a bit simpler and I'll actually get it done this time. I'll feel so fulfilled that it will give me the motivation to continue finishing my current projects.
Then again, maybe we just suffer from starting but never finishing projects syndrome.
